Out and about: This is a popular day trip for visitors to Hong Kong. We visited at Chinese New Years [Feb 9], and all temples were extremely crowded with people making prayers and offerings for a prosperous New Year.
Travel tip: Hong Kong has excellent public transportation system. We used ferry boats, buses, and trains extensively. The English language is common, and public transportation is clean, efficient, timely, and inexpensive. Don’t be afraid to head off on your own self-directed tour!
