The return of the 48 Hour Film Project is upon us – teams gathering resources and motivation to film, edit, and produce a film in, yes, 48 hours.


Getting things started tonight at Forest Room 5, this event gathers steam every year and is just as much fun to watch as it is to participate.


Think you have what it takes? Check out the website for registration info. And if you’re interested in screening the films, I’ll remind you next weekend of times and places.

Dragons. Boats. Dragon Boats and more! Saturday and Sunday


The summer is markedly swimming with the 2005 Colorado Dragon Boat Festival!


With Dragon Boats and Asian Pacific American cultures with more than 80 vendors in the Asian Marketplace and two full days of traditional and contemporary Asian Pacific American performances, you can watch authentic Dragon Boats racing on Sloan’s Lake Park.


Don’t worry about parking – it’s FREE at Invesco Field with air-conditioned shuttles running to and from the park all weekend.
