The president and chief executive of eBay, Meg Whitman, will be the keynote speaker at an Oct. 20 gala during Colorado Tech Week.
From Oct. 17 to Oct. 21, more than 25 events will take place throughout the state focusing on nanotechnology, aerospace, biotechnology and technology education.
Whitman will be the keynote speaker during DemoGala, a display of top technologies and innovations from a select group of 15 Colorado-based companies. Sponsored by the Colorado Software and Industry Association, DemoGala is expected to draw 1,500 attendees at the Colorado Convention Center.
According to the CSIA, the gala will be Whitman’s first speaking event in Colorado. She is expected to discuss innovations spawned by eBay. The online auctioneer has a small facility in the Denver area.
Tickets for DemoGala are $125 each and can be purchased from the CSIA.
