UPDATE FROM DENVERPOST.COM
Denver police are searching for Andrew Rubio, 20, in connection with the drive-by shooting. They’ve arrested three other people, two women and a juvenile.

Denver – Denver police said they have located a white 4-door sedan that they believe is connected to the shooting of two girls Sunday.

The girls, ages 7 and 12, were wounded in their beds by a high-powered rifle around 10:50 p.m. Sunday, police say.

Police do not have a motive for the shooting.

A red Pontiac Grand Am and the white sedan were seen leaving the area of Osceola Street near First Avenue. Denver Police Detective John White said the Grand Am was found Monday.

The two girls suffered minor injuries and were released from Denver Health Medical Center Monday.

White said further investigation determined that the Osceola Street shooting did not appear to have any connection with a drive-by shooting in Englewood.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913 STOP (7867). Callers can remain anonymous and earn up to $2,000.
