Gifts of wine can be dressed in style

True Fabrications’ stylish
wine bags offer a snazzy
way to tote a gift. Just one
problem: You may not
want to give away the
bags, particularly the more
expensive ones. Styles
range from a standard
printed bag to
jute-and-wood creations,
priced from $1.50 to
$8.50. The chef coat
(spoon not included) is
$6.49. The company specializes in eco-friendly materials,
including recycled canvas and dried wildflowers.
Sold locally at The Denver Wine Connection,
Little Raven Vineyards and Wines Off Wynkoop.

Grandma K’s organic applesauce is chilling at area supermarkets

Rogene Kellar, better known as “Grandma K,”
wants you to eat your, or her, applesauce. The

K’s Ultimate Applesauce, made with organic
Granny Smith and gala apples, is available in original,
chunky and naked (no added sugar) in the
organic dairy cooler in King Soopers, or in the
chilled produce cooler in Whole Foods Markets.
Denver Post tasters young and old liked all three.
