Ween hits the road in October. Its official website so far lists only nine shows for the indie rockers’ fall tour, but more stops are expected. Two of the already booked shows take place at the Boulder Theater on Dec. 1-2. You have a week to save up the price of a ticket. They go on sale Sept. 9 ($35, 303-786-7030).

Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble celebrates its 35th anniversary season with four dance performances. Called the “Roots to Fame,” the production showcases two guest choreographers, Christopher Huggins and Roger C. Jeffrey. Performances are scheduled Sept. 24-25 and Oct. 1-2 at the University of Denver’s Newman Center. Tickets are on sale ($18-$38, Ticketmaster).

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey has announced the Denver dates for its 135th edition of The Greatest Show on Earth. The circus features new ringmaster Tyron McFarlan and old favorite Bello the clown. Nineteen performances are set for the Denver Coliseum Oct. 5-16. Tickets are on sale ($15-$70, Ticketmaster).

My Morning Jacket sets off Oct. 6 on a fall tour that is slated to keep the Americana group on the road until Nov. 12. The tour kicks off two days after the scheduled release of a new studio album, “Z.” My Morning Jacket plays the Fox Theatre on Oct. 31. The versatile Saul Williams opens. You have a week to decide if you want a ticket. They go on sale Sept. 10 ($20, 303-443-3399).

The Samples are still booking dates for the band’s “Revolution Is Now” tour, which started this month in California. Colorado fans can mark Nov. 4 on their calendars. That’s the day these rock ‘n’ roll road warriors stop at the Bluebird Theater. Tickets go on sale Saturday ($16, TicketWeb).
