Rapper The Game no shoe-in in Vegas after MTV shooting

The Game got the boot from a major fashion convention in Las Vegas on Tuesday before he could introduce his new sneaker line.

Organizers thought the rapper was involved in the shooting of Suge Knight at last weekend’s MTV Video Music Awards activities and feared retaliation.

Game’s sneaker, Hurricane by 310, was scheduled to be introduced at the Magic Marketplace at the Las Vegas Convention Center. He told The Associated Press, “They were scared there was going to be some drama, but I don’t know why they would be scared, because I had nothing to do with (the shooting).”
