Torah scroll dedication|Congregation B’nai Torah’s Rabbi Jody Cook will dedicate its first Torah scroll after Rabbi Moshe Klein of Klein Brothers in Brooklyn, N.Y., completes the last three lines at 11:30 a.m. at Congregation B’nai Torah, 3990 W. 74th Ave., Westminster.

ECKANKAR workshop|”Past Lives, Dreams and Soul Travel,” a free four-week workshop based on a book by Harold Klemp – spiritual leader of ECKANKAR, Religion of the Light and Sound of God – will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sundays through Oct. 9 at the Denver ECKANKAR Center, 5800 E. History of Jewish life|Artist Marilyn Lande will give a lecture, slide show and anecdotal history of Jewish life in America at 11 a.m. at Congregation Beth Shalom, 6116 S. Pennsylvania St., Centennial.

Youth program|The youth program at Wellshire Presbyterian Church, 2999 S. Colorado Blvd., is from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and includes interactive lessons for youths in junior and senior high school on the theme “Way to Live: Practicing Our Faith,” a family-style meal prepared by parent teams, and high-energy worship led by the Youth Vespers Band.

Buddhist/Christian presentation|The Buddhist-Christian Interfaith Community at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1615 Ogden St., is having a meditation and a presentation by Andrew Holecek, teacher at Shambhala Center, Denver, on “Death and the Art of Dying in Tibetan Buddhism, Part II,” at 5 p.m.
