Barenaked Ladies have set up a holiday tour on which they will mix their rock hits with Christmas and Hanukkah songs to get everyone in the mood. Appropriately, the tour is called “Barenaked for the Holidays Tour.” It comes to the Buell

Theatre for an all-ages show on Dec. 10.

Tickets go on sale Saturday ($46-$56, Ticketmaster).

Widespread Panic is up to its old tricks. A Charlottesville, Va., television station recently reported that residents were up in arms when the jam band turned up the amps at an amphitheater, rattling neighbors’ windows. That kind of thing will only bring louder shouts of joy when the band visits the Fillmore Auditorium on Nov. 3 and 4. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. today ($37.50, Ticketmaster).

Mos Def and Talib Kweli co-headline “The Breedlove Odyssey” tour. Look for Mos Def to perform his new single, “Katrina Klap.” In it, he pulls no punches in criticizing the government’s actions in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He also takes time to trash rock superstar Bono. The rappers perform at the Ogden Theatre on Nov. 10-11. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday ($40.25, Ticketmaster).

Lisa Marie Presley plans to return to the road in early November. Presley unexpectedly postponed an earlier tour in July, and some of the cities she’ll visit this time out were part of that tour. An appearance Nov. 19 at the Gothic Theatre is on the new itinerary. Tickets go on sale Saturday ($24, TicketWeb).

Drive By Truckers have signed on for a three-day gig to close out 2005 in Boulder. They play the Fox Theatre on Dec. 29, 30 and 31. Tickets are $22.50 for the first two nights and $50 for the New Year’s Eve show. They are on sale through the Fox, 303-443-3399.
