My favorite subject is: Biology. I like to see how things work with the body.

My favorite athlete is: Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey. He’s so quick and fighting through injuries. He’s a pretty tough guy, too.

My favorite team is: The Broncos. I’ve always followed them.

What I listen to: A little of everything.

The best thing on my training table is: Qdoba.

Pregame ritual: Every week a group of guys hangs out at a friend’s house before the game.

Time management tip: Just try to make sure schoolwork is done every day as soon as you can. Don’t slack on it.

Planned career: Undecided. Interested in playing football in college.

My family: Parents Ned and Peggy; sisters Samantha and Shelby.

What I like most about high school sports: The friendships and camaraderie you develop.

What I like least about high school sports: I hate to practice.

The Denver Post recognizes a female and male student-athlete of the week. At the end of the school year, 10 finalists will be chosen. Ultimately, The Post and The Denver Athletic Club will select one boy and one girl as student-athletes of the year, and a substantial donation will be made to a local charity in their names.
