Aerosmith is going on the road in support of its new CD-DVD combination called “Rockin’ the Joint Live (Live at the Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas). The band plans to give more fans an up-close look during the show by performing on ramps leading from the stage through the floor seats. Lenny Kravitz also is on the bill. The Rockin’ the Joint Tour comes to the Pepsi Center on Jan. 30.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday ($55-$125, Ticketmaster).

Cake launches the Unlimited Sunshine Tour beginning in January. The annual tour features an eclectic mix of performers. This year is no different, with punksters Gogol Bordello and folk-rockers Tegan & Sara invited along for the good times. The tour comes to the Fillmore Auditorium on Jan. 25. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday ($25, Ticketmaster).

STS9, or Sound Tribe Sector 9, kicks off an extended road trip in Atlanta on Dec. 29 and does not stop until March 21 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It includes shows at the Fillmore Auditorium on Jan. 27-28. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday ($25-$28, Ticketmaster).

Sigur Rós, or Victory Rose if you prefer the translation, released the album “Takk …” in September. Sigur Rós plays the Paramount Theatre on Feb. 23. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday ($30-$35, Ticketmaster).
