The best things on my training table are: Blueberries, which we used to grow on our farm, and Mexican food.
Pregame ritual: I go over the game in my head, think about what I have to do, stretch strategy and pray.
Time management tip: I try to take advantage of the little time I have.
Planned career: Pre-med or business; in the process of being appointed to the Air Force Academy.

What I like least about high school sports: Sometimes it gets tiring, it feels overwhelming … but never anything you can’t handle.
Preps
The Denver Post recognizes a female and male student-athlete of the week. At the end of the school year, 10 finalists will be chosen. Ultimately, The Post and The Denver Athletic Club will select one boy and one girl as student-athletes of the year, and a substantial donation will be made to a local charity in their names.
