Metro State was one of 48 programs nationally to have both its men’s and women’s soccer programs earn the team academic award, given by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America to programs with a team grade-point average of 3.0 or better. The NSCAA honored 311 programs, 65 men’s teams and 246 women’s programs.
Colin Eames, a senior midfielder on the Air Force soccer team, was selected to the all-West Region second team by the NSCAA, his first such honor.
