When Don DeCoster builds a house, it has to fit in with the neighborhood and be energy efficient.
DeCoster, an architect turned homebuilder, is managing director of Centerstone LLC. Among his latest offerings is a Tudor-style home at 351 Glencoe St. in Denver’s Hilltop neighborhood.
The Energy Star-rated home has all-plywood construction to resist mold, cast-in-place and drained area wells to protect the basement, and stronger concrete than required.
The four-bedroom, 4 1/2-bath house has three fireplaces, an upper-floor laundry room and a two-car garage.
The listing price for the 4,555- square-foot house is $1.89 million. It’s open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.
