Former Daily News spokesman Ken Frydman witnessed the attack and said, Grant was “looking at his cellphone, when this young guy started flashing his camera.” Grant responded by taking photos of the intrusive lensman with his cellphone camera, saying, “How do you like it, mate?” and then slapping the manila folder across his head.
When the photographer “kept taunting him … Grant kicked him in the butt. Not hard – he was just trying to shove him away,” Frydman said.
