Return to a bygone era with this 20-person vocal group for “Songs from the ’40s.” Tonight and Saturday night at 7:30, and Sunday at 2 p.m. at East Middle School, 1275 Fraser St. in Aurora. $8 for adults, $6 students/seniors, under 12 free.

This classic-rock quartet released its latest CD exactly a month ago. Expect songs from “One” tonight with Katalyst and Soul Rabbit at The Walnut Room, 3131 Walnut St. 8 p.m. $6.

RHYTHM VISION

Local funksters will celebrate the release of their new album “The Future of Things Silent,” with Judge Roughneck, Hip Not Fly and Nightown. Saturday at Herman’s Hideaway, 1578 S. Broadway. 10 p.m. $5.

ORWELLIAN MATH

These Boulder experimental punks will open for The Birthday Massacre and Schoolyard Heroes, Sunday at the Marquis Theatre, 2009 Larimer St. 7:30 p.m. $8, all ages.
