Debra Evans, 52, was charged today with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of her husband, Clifford Evans.
On April 14, Denver police were called to the 1900 block of East 17th Avenue on a report of a stabbing. Evans made the call, claiming it was a domestic violence incident.
Evans is in custody in Denver County Jail.
She is scheduled to be formally advised of the charge on Friday in Denver County Court.
