Two more teenagers have been cited as drivers in a street race that ended in a fatal accident on Airport Road in Aurora on Friday, Lt. Troy Edwards said.

German Vasquez, 18, a former Montbello High School student, and a 17-year-old boy who attends Montbello High were issued summonses for reckless driving, speed contest and driving a vehicle without a valid driver’s license, Edwards said.

Mauro Najera, 18, and Jose Garcia-Felix, 18, have been arrested in the accident, which occurred when the two cars they were driving came in contact during the alleged race, causing the red Plymouth Breeze that Najera was driving to roll five times, killing a 15-year-old girl. Those two drivers could face vehicular homicide charges, police said.

The Breeze, a black Pontiac Grand Am driven by Garcia- Felix, a blue Mitsubishi Mirage driven by Vasquez and a green Pontiac Grand Am driven by the juvenile were racing northbound on Airport Road about 2:30 p.m. Friday when the accident occurred, Edwards said.

Najera also faces a charge of possession and consumption of alcohol, 9News reported.

The four drivers are Denver residents.

Najera and Garcia-Felix also did not have valid driver’s licenses, according to court records.

Guadalupe Sanchez suffered fatal injuries when she was partially ejected from the Plymouth.
