At least two people died and others were injured when a semi-truck collided with an ambulance this afternoon on Interstate 76 between Sterling and Brush.
The Colorado State Patrol closed I-76 westbound at the Merino exit.
The accident occurred about 4:15 p.m
It was the second fatal ambulance crash in Colorado this month.
A 16-year-old Boulder High School student, Hannah Nicole Bauer Boemker, was killed last Monday when her car struck an ambulance in Boulder as she left her part-time job at a senior living complex.
