Q: Dear Scott,
What do you think about going on a vacation with your family? Like, say you have a married sister who has a couple of lovely sons or daughters – that you love being around and you all really have a super fun time. Would you go on vacation with them? Or is this biting off more time than would be smart with family? Thanks for your help!

SCOTT: That depends on a couple of things like, oh I don’t know maybe if you’re in a relationship? I’d prefer to spend my valuable vacation time with that person rather than my sister and her incredibly adorable, precious, highly gifted, etc rugrats. Take into account their ages because your ability to relax on this vacation strongly depends on their ability to behave.
I can be honest.
On the other hand, it seems like you really do enjoy hanging out with the posse so it’s kind of a tossup. Why don’t you go with the always-reliable vacation deal-maker/breaker: the beach?
