The first of Cherokee Ranch’s seven-concert series gets going at 5:30 p.m. with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra artists performing chamber music compositions by Peter Schickele, Beethoven, Mozart and David Mullikin. The event includes wine tasting and a supper buffet, plus a dessert-coffee reception and the chance to converse with the musicians. Up next: a big-band repertoire concert Aug. 12 celebrating Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn.
