Everyone loves Lefty. But reigning Masters champion Phil Mickelson isn’t the only reason to follow this talented threesome. Three years ago, Davis Love III joined Mickelson as the only multiple International winners. Each has won twice at Castle Pines.
Glover may not yet be a household name but the third-year tour player from Greenville, S.C., may be feeling as much pressure as anyone in the field. Glover ranks 13th in U.S. Ryder Cup qualifying points, with only The International and next week’s PGA Championship remaining in the points race. The top 10 point-getters automatically earn a spot in the 2006 Ryder Cup matches scheduled for Sept. 22-24 in Ireland.
