Aurora – An 8-year-old girl got her arm caught in an escalator at the Aurora Mall on Sunday afternoon, Aurora fire Capt. Mike Ackman said.
The girl might have been playing on the escalator at the time of the accident.
Her hand was caught in the handrail as it went around and into the floor, but the escalator was shut down and firefighters pulled her out, Ackman said.
The girl was not taken by ambulance, rather her parents took him to a private doctor, Ackman said.
