Three Coloradans are among 400 players nationally who have been nominated to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, an annual all-star football showcase to be played in January.

Montbello’s Drew Davis, a wide receiver; Columbine’s Ryan Miller, an offensive lineman; and Mullen’s Steve Watson, a tight end, are being considered for the game, scheduled for Jan. 6 at San Antonio’s Alamodome.

The Army will begin a national tour Tuesday that will run into December. Later this season, the field will be cut to 80 players.

Watson has given an oral commitment to Michigan. Miller has narrowed his choices to the University of Colorado and Notre Dame. Davis is considering several national powers and will take later visits.
