The University of Dallas’ Cory Jensen scored in the 87th minute to tie its game against Colorado College on Thursday, and after two overtimes the game ended without a winner at Irving, Texas.
The Tigers’ Trevor Cobb scored off an assist by Jordan Reese to give CC the lead in the 69th minute. Dave Khuen played all 110 minutes in goal for CC, recording 10 saves.
UCCS’ Winder earns RMAC plaudit
Eric Winder of the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men’s golfer of the week after he led the Mountain Lions to 27-stroke advantage and a victory at the RMAC championships Tuesday.
Winder finished in a three-way tie for first place with teammate Tyler Bishop and Regis’ Miles Philpy. But Winder’s low-round score of 5-under-par 67 in the opening round netted him the honor.
