Tivoli Lodge reopens; two-year renovation updates rooms, meshes charm, technology
After a two-year remodel, the Tivoli Lodge is back at full capacity, its 62 spacious rooms no longer lingering in the ’60s – when the European-style lodge was built. Instead it sports the trappings of modern travel, including wireless access, flat-screen TVs and DVD players. But owners Bob and Diane Lazier managed to retain the Old World charm that made the Tivoli popular in an area often criticized for its cookie-cutter construction, and the Tivoli’s fireplace-dominated lobby and cozy library are just two examples of the warm setting and inviting atmosphere at this Colorado classic. Reopening rates starting at $179 for mountain view. Tivoli Lodge, 386 Hanson Ranch Road, 800-451-4756 or tivolilodge.com
