Colorado Secretary of State Gigi Dennis decided Tuesday not to adopt a proposed rule that would have required unions and other member organizations to get written permission from their members and others who voluntarily contribute to the group.
Dennis, however, did not alter a campaign finance rule that requires those groups to get written authorization from their members before using their dues for political activities.
