A man suffering from a form of amnesia who wound up in Denver not knowing who he was or where he was from has been reunited with family and friends.
Jeff Ingram, 40, flew back to Washington today and was greeted by his girlfriend Penny Hansen.
Ingram disappeared on Sept. 6 while driving from Olympia, Wa., to Alberta, Canada, to visit his parents.
Family spotted him this weekend on television news reports and and Hansen contacted Denver Police.
Ingram suffers with dissociative fugue, a disorder in which a person can’t remember some or all of their life.
The couple, through the Denver police, asked the media to respect their privacy today so Ingram can concentrate on recovering and getting his life back together.
