KGNU Benefit Concert

GoGirls Music Festival

The Toad Tavern hosts this fiercely independent festival of female music, including Melissa Mullins, Jennifer Friedman, Melissa Ivey, Riveter Girls, A Melodic Daydream and many others. Saturday at S. Federal Circle in Littleton, 8:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m. $3-$5 donation benefits CaringBridge.

Jason Vigil

This northern Colorado songwriter will issue his CD “Heart Gone Sober” Saturday at the Walnut Room and gear up for a spate of Front Range performances. With Fong Jones, Battery Park and Mike Berg at 3131 Walnut St. 8:30 p.m. $6.

Killfix/Januar CD-release party

These Denver indie bands will drop a new EP and album, respectively, on Saturday at the Larimer Lounge. The latter missed a June release due to label woes and recently replaced drummer Patty Holland with Chris Calloway. With Joshua Novak and The Life There Is, 2721 Larimer St. 8 p.m. $6.
