Aurora police arrested a partially dressed registered sex offender after he was found hanging around Gateway High School.
Police said Daniel Lucky Denny, 30, was seen repeatedly driving around Gateway and onto school property before he was arrested Monday.
He was not fully dressed, according to police.
Denny allegedly made a false statement about his identity and could not provide a reason for being on school grounds, police said.
The officer was able to identify Denny as a registered sex offender.
He was arrested on charges of trespassing and making false statements.
Aurora schools Superintendent John L. Barry said that the suspect had not made contact with students or staff.
