Denver prosecutors filed two additional charges Tuesday against Lawrence Trujillo, 36, in the Nov. 10 accident that killed three members of a Denver family as they crossed the intersection of 15th and Arapahoe streets.
Trujillo was charged with two counts of child abuse resulting in death.
Trujillo is accused of killing Rebecca Bingham, 39, her 4-year-old daughter, Macie, and her 2-year-old son, Garrison.
Investigators said the family had a green light and Trujillo, driving drunk, ran a red light. Frank Bingham, 41, survived the hit-and-run.
The charges are in addition to 11 other charges already filed, including multiple counts of vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of an accident. Trujillo could face up to 126 years in prison if convicted of all the charges.
