Getting your player ready...

If you’re dragging into the ski season and not really feeling it yet, Keystone’s got the gig to fan skiing’s slumbering embers and start your season. Now in its third year, the 36 Hours of Keystone this weekend promises to electrify slacking skiers with a nonstop day-and-a-half party of turns and tunes. It’s an endurance event in the easiest sense: cruise groomers at odd hours and see if you can keep the party alive for two days, unlike other ski endurance events aimed at breaking competitors in half.Two-to-four person teams who can get one team member to ski a lap every hour of the event can compete for a $3,600 prize. Keystone is offering $10 demos for gear, so you could try different rides. Lodging deals and hot bands make Keystone’s gala the best way to spark the ski season.
