Jennifer Moore and her fiancé, Nate Miller, both of Fort Collins, decided Friday would be the day to get married at the Hyde Chapel at YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park.
As last week’s blizzard blanketed the state, 22-year-old Moore breathed a sigh of relief thinking there was no way it could happen again on her wedding day.
She was so wrong.
“I am just praying that we get less snow than expected and that they clear the roads on time,” Moore said. “I am praying for a miracle.”
The guest list of 130 people includes many from Moore’s home state of Michigan.
Many guests are already in Colorado, but there are some who are still on the way coming through the Denver International Airport.
“I am just worried that no one is going to come to my wedding,” she said.
Miller, 23, is keeping his mouth shut about the storm around his fiancé.
“He doesn’t really say much,” Moore said. “He’s trying not to freak me out.”
