DENVER – Hotel-occupancy and average room rates in metro Denver and Colorado continued to improve in 2006 compared with 2005, according to an annual tally released Monday by the Rocky Mountain Lodging Report.
Statewide, occupancy rates rose by 2.5 percentage points, to 62.4 percent, while room rates increased $8.48, to $113.84.
In the metro area, occupancy rates rose 2.3 percentage points, to 66.4 percent, and room rates jumped $10.44, to $101.54.
