Halle Berry is willing to pay dearly to remodel her home; just don’t talk to her about it. According to TMZ.com, the actress hired an Orange County painting company to restain cabinets in her Los Angeles home for $57,000. But one of the contract clauses was that no worker was to talk to Berry while at her home, unless she speaks first.

Paul McCartney will get to keep the cabin he built on his 933-acre East Sussex estate three years ago. McCartney failed to get the proper permission to build the $1.9 million wildlife-watching pavilion, but on Jan. 18, England’s Rother District Council allowed McCartney to keep the hut.

Movie sets are chock-full of luxury trailers for the film’s stars. But Kirsten Dunst used a classic Spartan travel trailer for “Spiderman 3.” Janetcharl tonshollywood.com reported, with accompanying photos, Dunst used a silver zephyr- style vehicle built in 1955 and restored by Steven Butcher at Funkyjunkfarms.com. The 480-square-foot interior included rosewood walls and cabinets, leather floors, two flatscreen televisions, Miele kitchen appliances, and a stainless steel bathtub. The studio paid $8,000 a week to rent the trailer.

Kevin Connolly, quoted by the New York Daily News at the Golden Globe Awards: “We start shooting ‘Entourage’ in a month. I can’t wait to go back to work because I just bought a house in L.A., so you know I have to start saving to pay for the curtains.”

The home with the highest asking price in New York state just went on the market last week. The New York Post reported former U.S. Attorney Robert Rust, who served in Florida under Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford, is selling a 55-acre spread in the Hamptons for $80 million. The North Haven estate includes two houses, several docks, a lagoon and a 3,000-foot-long private beach. The previous record was a Bridgehampton estate for $75 million. A real estate agent said she’s already had offers.
