JEFFERSON COUNTY – A security officer at Lookout Mountain Youth Services Center in Golden has pleaded guilty to sexual assault on a child and unlawful sex in a penal institution.
Heather Rose Robbins, 29, of Englewood made the plea Monday in Jefferson County District Court, according to a news release.
She is accused of engaging in five or six sexual encounters with a 16-year-old boy at the facility between May 2004 and August 2005.
The boy reported that he and Robbins communicated by phone and letters on her days off, authorities said.
Sentencing has been set for April 23. Robbins faces a possible sentence of two years to life in prison.
