Conference scoring leader Ryan Duncan had two power-play goals and Philippe Lamoureux made 28 saves to lead North Dakota to a 3-0 win over Denver on Saturday night.
Despite the loss Saturday, Denver (21-12-3, 13-10-3 WCHA) clinched home ice during the first round of the WCHA playoffs because Michigan Tech defeated Wisconsin 4-2 Saturday night.
North Dakota (18-12-4, 12-10-4) was 2-of-7 on the power play Saturday, while Denver was scoreless in six power-play tries.
Rylan Kaip also scored for North Dakota.
Peter Mannino finished with 17 saves for Denver.
The win avenged North Dakota’s 4-3 loss to Denver on Friday night.
