LAFAYETTE, Colo.-

A body found with multiple stab wounds at a home has been identified as a woman whom neighbors said hadn’t been seen for about three weeks and whose daughter is one of three teenagers held in the slaying.

Linda L. Damm, 52, was found in her house Wednesday after police received an anonymous tip. She was positively identified Friday through fingerprints, Boulder County Coroner Thomas Faure said.

Mike Damm, 47, of Fond du Lac, Wis., told The Denver Post that detectives called him and asked permission to speak to his 15-year-old daughter, whom he hasn’t seen since she was a baby.

Mike Damm said investigators told him that Linda Damm had been deceased “a while” before police found her body.

“They did tell me they were trying to figure out how long her body, how long she had been deceased. There were questions there,” Mike Damm said.

Cmdr. Rick Bashor of the Lafayette Police Department two boys and one girl were arrested, but he declined to give names or ages or other details.

The girl and at least one boy reportedly wrote on their MySpace.com page about having parental troubles with Linda Damm.
