Halle Berry admits she didn’t starve on the set of her new thriller, “Perfect Stranger,” thanks to co-star Bruce Willis. The “Die Hard” star brought his own chef to the set, Berry said, according to contactmusic.com. “(Willis) always brought me food a lot because he had really good cooks, a really good chef that always cooked the good stuff in his trailer. While I just had the regular set food he had this gourmet meal cooking. It was amazing.”
Jamie Oliver is getting $5 million to write his autobiography, the Daily Mirror reported. It’s reportedly the biggest book deal for a TV chef. That will buy a lot of pots and pans. Stories about cooking for Tony Blair and stars like Brad Pitt and a behind- the-scenes look at his school dinner campaign are expected to be included.
Another celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, has been asked to spare the lives of lambs he has grazing on David and Victoria Beckham’s English country estate, the Daily Mirror reported. A PETA spokesperson claims the Beckhams are unaware the lambs are being raised for slaughter on their Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire farm. A spokeswoman for Victoria Beckham said, “She was more than happy to let the sheep roam around her grounds, but as a devout vegetarian, she will be distraught to learn that they’re going to be killed.”
A pregnant Charlotte Church has a curious craving for pizza. The singer and talk show host, who is having a baby with rugby star Gavin Henson, is eating pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner, her mother Maria admitted to The Sun. “She just can’t stop eating pizza,” Maria said. “I’d be amazed if she has gone a day in the last couple of months without a slice.” A newspaper photographer even snapped pictures of a local pizza delivery man dropping off a pie to Church’s home.
