Aspen – Pitkin County officials identified a body found Sunday as a 59-year-old Aspen lingerie store owner who apparently died of alcohol poisoning and hypothermia when caught out in a snowstorm after a Kentucky Derby party.

Judith Ann “Judy” Eisen, owner of Cheeks Lingerie, a fixture in downtown Aspen for 26 years, was found in a ravine about 15 feet off a residential street, along her walking route home from the party in the same neighborhood.

Pitkin County Coroner Scott Thompson ruled the death an accident, exacerbated by six inches of snow that fell overnight and temperatures that dropped into the 30s.
