JAYME STONE

Boulder-based banjoist Jayme Stone recently returned from a trip to Africa, where he traveled to explore the roots of the instrument. Tonight he’ll release his latest CD at Swallow Hill Folk Music Association, 71 E. Yale Ave., 8 p.m. $12-$15.

THE TRAMPOLINES

This acoustic pop-rock act on Saturday will release its latest CD/DVD, “One Night Live,” recorded at the Walnut Room. It documents the tail end of the band’s 2006 tour. With Angie Stevens & the Beautiful Wreck, the Fong Jones Band and Rob Drabkin. Bluebird Theater, 3317 E. Colfax Ave., all ages, 8 p.m. $8.

JAVA FEST

The city of Aurora’s fourth annual Java Fest coincides with the Post-News Colorado Colfax Marathon, but that’s only a sliver of the fun. Bop Skizzum, déjà vu, Aphrodite, Xiren and Wendy Woo will perform amid the coffee samplings, life-sized chess and other activities. Sunday, Fletcher Plaza, 9898 E. Colfax Ave. 6 a.m.-1 p.m. Free.
