My favorite subject: Mathematics. It comes natural to me, and it’s fun to work on problems.
My favorite athlete: Derek Jeter, because the way he plays the game is unlike anyone else and he’s talented in so many ways.
My favorite team: Atlanta Braves. I was born near there and grew up watching them.
What I listen to: Country.
The best thing on my training table: Steak and potatoes.
Pregame ritual: I don’t do anything real drastic. I put on my uniform the exact same way and listen to the same songs before the game.
Time management tip: Focus on what you’re doing at that exact time, get it done and go on to the next thing and stay on track.
Planned career: Sports marketing.
My family: Parents Pat and Kim, sister Emily.
I would love to visit: Cancun, Mexico.
What I like most about high school sports: The rivalries and the competitiveness; I like being able to play for my high school.
What I like least about high school sports: Baseball-wise, it’s cold early in the season, but other than that I love it.
