
Cameron Emerson is a senior at Thomas Jefferson High School in Denver. He has a 4.43 weighted grade-point average and is ranked third in his class.
He has played baritone saxophone in band since his freshman year.
Cameron became an Eagle Scout at 14. For his Eagle project, he painted a map of the United States at his old elementary school. Through Boy Scouts he has volunteered many hours for service projects in the community as well as mentored younger Scouts. As a National Honor Society member, he has volunteered for school functions as well as been involved with El Pomar Youth in Community Service.
He is enrolled in Advanced Placement courses in calculus, chemistry, literature and U.S. history.
Cameron lettered in soccer this school year and has participated in soccer for four years at Thomas Jefferson High. He also plays club soccer with Colorado Fusion Soccer Club.
He has been accepted to the Colorado School of Mines and plans to study engineering and physics.
