Dog “The Bounty Hunter” Chapman’s son has spilled the beans on his father to The National Enquirer and it isn’t pretty. Dog’s eldest son, Christopher, 34, says, “The Dog that people see on TV is nothing like he is in real life. He’s a monster – a violent, racist tyrant who smokes crack.” Chris goes on to say that his father introduced him to smoking crack and eventually crystal meth. “It turns my stomach to see him lecture people on not using drugs when he’s the biggest drug user I ever saw. … The violence in that house was incredible – like a hillbilly trailer park,” he says of his dad, who grew up and lived for many years in Denver. Chris also claims his father is a bigot who hates blacks and gays.
The Dalai Lama toured the zoo of late “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin on Wednesday, where he thanked Irwin’s family for its dedication to wildlife. Delicately handling a Burmese python and petting a frisky koala, the spiritual head of the world’s Buddhists visited Australia Zoo and addressed a sold-out crowd at its open-air, arena-style “Crocoseum.” The Dalai Lama’s visit ended when American-born Terri Irwin, Steve’s widow, and their children, Bindi and Bob, came on stage, with Bindi carrying a koala. Among other things, the Dalai Lama spoke about how as a young man in Tibet he used to buy animals to save them from slaughterhouses.
She won fame as voracious man-eater Samantha in Sex And The City, but movie lovers will shortly see a very different Kim Cattrall. The 50-year-old actress is to play opposite Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe in a forthcoming TV movie about Rudyard Kipling’s son (played by Radcliffe) who goes missing in the first World War. Kim plays Kipling’s saintly American wife, Caroline. “I can’t wait to start working with Daniel, I am a huge fan,” Cattrall said. “He’s an incredible actor and very mature for his years.” Kim was more dubious about her other project – a “Sex And The City” movie. “I am still waiting for the script to come through. I don’t even know if it is going ahead.”
Police followed Martha Stewart’s car on Tuesday as she made her way to an appearance on The View. But it wasn’t Stewart they were after this time – it was her driver. Just as Stewart got out of her car at The View studios, her driver was arrested. The hot-tempered homemaker was not happy. The New York Post reports that Stewart immediately went to her dressing room and began shouting at her assistant over the phone. “How could you do this to me? Don’t you do background checks on people?” Martha Stewart Omnimedia confirmed the driver’s arrest, but made clear he was a temporary employee.
Former “Magnum, P.I.” star Tom Selleck has turned down an offer to appear in a big screen version of the show. He revealed: “I think having seen many movies adapted from TV shows, it’s not for me. I also want people to remember the character with fondness.”
