Colorado State University has named a new strain of wheat “Bill Brown” as tribute to a longtime CSU professor and Extension plant pathologist who died in 2003. The new variety has shown high yields in Colorado and excellent defense from leaf and stripe rust.

Frontier Airlines will add new flights from Memphis, Tenn., beginning in September. Frontier will add a third daily flight to Denver and daily service to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Nov. 15 and a second flight to Orlando, Fla., on Dec. 15; and increase weekly flights to Las Vegas to five on Sept. 6.
