HAYS, Kan.—Adam Kotschwar brought back a 60-yard interception and Fort Hays State crusied to a 34-10 win over Colorado Mines on Saturday night.
It’s the first time since 2000 that Fort Hays has won the first two home games.
Ryne Salyer threw two touchdowns to Jordan Hickel including a 15-yard score to take a 14-7 halftime lead.
Salyer later added a 1-yard rushing TD midway through the fourth quarter. He finished with 216 yards.
Adam Saur led the Orediggers (0-2) with 7 receptions for 132 yards.
The Tigers (2-0) also racked up seven sacks.
