An Adams County Sheriff’s deputy posing on the Internet as a young girl was contacted by two local men in separate incidents. Both have been charged with felonies.
The sheriff’s office said each man began conversing with the decoy, with sexually explicit conversations and videos of themselves.
Arrested were Charles “Dusty” Rhodes, 45, of Englewood and Ron Buckstein, 32, of Aurora. Each has been charged with Internet sexual exploitation of a child, a Class 4 felony.
“We are actively trying to intercept predators before they can actually find the victims they are looking for — our children,” said Adams County Sheriff Doug Darr.
Anyone with information about these men or similar incidents is asked to call 720-322-1313.
