Getting your player ready...

For some, the emotional wounds are fresh; for others they’re scarred over by time. Each of these women has had cherished lives taken from them – though not always by death. Some have found a measure of peace. Some have not.
From the differences, they draw strength and understanding. Embracing faith and one another, the group calls itself Families Against Violent Acts. They pronounce the acronym FAVA with a long “a,” so it sounds like “favor” – as in favor with God. They come together to help each other heal.
