A Naval medic from Littleton has been killed while serving in Afghanistan, the U.S. Department of Defense announced today.
Charles Luke Milam, 26, died Tuesday during combat operations in Helmand Province, according to a brief news release. Milam, a petty officer 2nd class, was a hospital corpsman assigned to serve with the 2nd Marine Special Operations Battalion, based at Camp Lejeune, N.C.
