Cirque du Soleil’s productions are as imaginative as they are popular, packing the traveling Grand Chapiteau tent for months in a single city. The one-off show is even rarer, making “Saltimbanco” all the more special. Granted, 12 shows at the Broomfield Event Center and seven at Colorado Springs’ World Arena isn’t exactly “one-off,” but relative to this summer’s two-month “Corteo” stint, it’s brief. Tickets for the Nov. 28-Dec. 1 and Dec. 3-13 shows, respectively, are on sale at 10 a.m. Monday. ($32-$70, Ticketmaster or TicketsWest)
David Gray’s acoustic folk-pop has resonated with a growing audience, even if Gray’s unafraid to lose a few fans with stylistic refinements. He plays the Paramount Theatre on Dec. 7, touring behind his new album “A Thousand Miles Behind.” Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($40-$45, TicketHorse)
Kenny G’s postponed Oct. 12 date at the Paramount Theatre has been rescheduled for Feb. 22. Tickets purchased for the original date will be honored, and new tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. on Dec. 1. ($39.50-$125, TicketHorse)
Flogging Molly holds a peculiar spot between punk and Celtic nostalgia, or as founder Dave King has said: “If it didn’t have mandolin, accordion, fiddle and whistle, it would be punk rock, and if it didn’t have guitar, bass and drums, it would be traditional Irish music.” Tickets for the Dec. 8 Fillmore Auditorium concert, with opener Murder by Death, are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($22, Ticketmaster)
Jonathan Davis joins Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audioslave) and Aaron Lewis (Staind) in making the unexpected trip from hard rock mainstay to solo artist, although the success of the latter two should certainly be encouraging to Davis. The Korn frontman plays the Ogden Theatre Dec. 1 with godhead. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($33.50, Ticketmaster)
Queensryche may have just visited in September, opening for Ronnie James Dio and Alice Cooper, but the band will get to headline when it plays the Fillmore on Jan. 23 with Don Dokken. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($35, Ticketmaster)
Brian Setzer Orchestra will tour its Christmas Extravaganza show for the sixth straight year, replete with 16 musicians and, of course, Setzer’s signature retro-guitar stylings. Expect to hear a mix of fiery big-band holiday classics and songs from Setzer’s latest disc, “Wolfgang’s Big Night Out,” at the show. Tickets for the Dec. 11 Fillmore concert with the Detonators are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($38.75-$43.75, Ticketmaster)
Trans-Siberian Orchestra added a 4 p.m. matinee performance to its World Arena show in Colorado Springs on Dec. 5. If your kids love bombastic synth-driven holiday music, you’re in luck. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($44-$58, TicketsWest)
